Who these terms are from

Green Light is a product of Together Ledger Digital LLC, registered in Macon, Georgia, United States. Contact: legal@together-ledger.com. "The app" means Green Light's apps for iPhone and Android, this website, and the services behind them. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

What the app is for

Green Light lets you show that you're open to a conversation, for a limited time, at a venue where you've scanned the code. If two people tap each other, both are told and can go and say hello. That's the whole product.

Green Light doesn't check who anyone is. Whether you walk over, what you say and whether you meet again are up to you. Stay in the venue, trust your judgement, and leave or report someone whenever something feels wrong. Green Light is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number or ask the venue's staff for help.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the app, wherever you live, and the birthdate you give must be your own. One account is for one real person. Don't create an account to impersonate someone, or to get around a block or a suspension. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in to yourself.

How to use it

Don't use the app to:

• harass, threaten, follow or pressure anyone, in the app or in person
• keep approaching someone who hasn't matched with you, or who has blocked you or left
• write anything in a hint or report that is hateful, sexual, threatening or untrue
• go green at a venue you aren't at, or share a venue's code so others can
• try to find out who tapped you, or get at anyone else's account or data
• interfere with the app, including by automated use
• break any law that applies to you

We review reports, and we can suspend or delete an account that does any of these. Venues can ask us to remove their code at any time.

Deleting your account, or having us do it

You can delete your account at any time, in the app or by email (see Delete your account). It's immediate and can't be undone. The privacy policy says exactly what deletion keeps and for how long.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The app is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that anyone will be in the room, tap you or match with you. We don't vet the people who use it. To the extent the law allows, Together Ledger Digital LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including from meeting anyone through it.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before the change takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

These terms haven't been reviewed by a lawyer. They describe how Green Light actually works, and we'll correct them wherever they fall short.
